Joel Ibabao

Joel Ibabao is a senior at Townsend Harris High School. He is the president of the Townsend Harris Philosophy Club where they discuss the works of various philosophers, debate on moral issues, and prepare for the NYC Ethics Bowl. He is the Vice President of JSA (Junior State of America), a club that enables students to build leadership skills, learn civil debate, and strengthen their engagement via volunteering and activism. He is also an ambassador for ASAP (Asian American Student Advocacy Project), an organization committed to giving power to the voices of the Asian Pacific American youth in creating positive change in the New York City education system
