Anupam B. Jena

Professor Anupam B. Jena graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and went on to receive an M.D. and Ph.D. in Economics from UChicago. Both a physician and researcher at the National Bureau of Economic Research, Professor Jena’s work centers on health care economics. He has coauthored a book, Random Acts of Medicine, as well as published many journal articles on his research (?). Professor Jena was also the host of the Freakonomics, M.D. podcast, where he explored various questions at the intersection of health policy and economics.
