Desireé Koontz

Desireé Koontz is an Associate at BlackRock based in New York City, where she serves as a Product Strategist for the Global Allocation Fund. In this role, she translates complex market trends into relatable insights for clients. She began her BlackRock career working directly under Rick Rider, the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, before joining her current team. Prior to BlackRock, Desireé worked as an Executive Assistant at a nonprofit. She’s also a long time volunteer for organizations focused on uplifting underrepresented communities and is interested in merging her passions to make financial literacy more accessible.
